Anicca’s wearable is worn discreetly and works in the background. While going about their daily routines, it allows the wearer to get calm and focused by a press of a button.

The device functions by generating soothing vibrations on the body in sync with the breath. This makes it easy to help patients implement and use mindfulness when the need arises, or just practice for a few minutes.

In case of an emotional emergency, the device can be used to help with diaphragmatic breathing.

 

Preliminary studies have found Anicca to help in 70% of reported situations – rating 3 and above on a 0–5 scale on the question “How much do you feel the device helped you achieve your desired outcome?”, with emphasis on creating calm, focus, and greater mental clarity.
